Our Policy

Terms of Sale: processed orders are not cancellable by the buyer. We provide one invoice per account - replacement invoices or multiple invoices per order are $3 each. The buyer must update us with changes to address and credit card expiry dates immediately as we waive responsibility for shipments sent to old addresses or delayed shipments caused by declined credit cards.

Ordering: orders must include the item number of the product you are ordering as indicated on our website. Orders accepted online only. Exceptionally we will accept orders by phone. We cannot be held responsible for errors on verbal orders.

Minimums: Minimum opening order of $50.
$50 minimum reorder applies to shipped orders to each location. A $10 surcharge will apply for samples shipped below the minimum charge.

Addition to orders We try to accomodate all orders received before noon.
We charge a service fee of $5 for any addition to an order that has been already placed and pulled.
After 2pm we do not accept any additions to orders.
If the cost of the addition is higher than $50, we will consider it as a new order, and shipping will be charged separately, and the service fee won't be applied.
Notice, we reserve the right to not proceed with additions to orders at any time, due limitation of time or stock.

Custom Orders: Once we receive the custom order request in our website or via phone, we will email an estimate. The client must approve the estimate, and we will send the invoice. All custom orders must be prepaid. Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Qualatex latex custom orders: Qualatex latex custom orders, are only available to customers with an approved account.
We reserve the right to cancel any custom order, in the case of a shortage or any other reason. We provide an estimate date of ordering Qualatex product, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates for custom orders, since we are not responsible for delays on shipping or vendor shortages.
All custom order notifications are done via email only.

Air-fill Service:

Our air-fill sevice is suspended.
All our products are sold without air or helium.

Backorders: no backorders. All out-of-stock items must be re-ordered.
We don't allow orders on hold.

Shipping: For orders to be shipped out the same day we will make our best effort to accommodate any emergency shipping received after 12pm but we cannot guarantee it.
Purolator offers ground and express shipping. For some locations we may provide Fedex rates as well.
Our products are shipped F.O.B. Richmond, B.C. and become your property upon delivery to the transporting carrier. We attempt to ship all orders by the next business day following receipt of order. Courier deliveries within 1 to 2 business days. We cannot ship to a P.O. box - a valid street address is required.

Shipping delays: Items are shipped via Purolator, FedEx, UPS, Chitchats and USPS.
The buyer is responsible to provide an address that these carriers recognize as a deliverable address. Unfortunately, we have no control over shipment once a package departs our building. If there are any issues with delivery for reasons out of our control (address provided to us is not accurate, issues within the shipping company, etc.) we are not responsible for shipping delays. We are not responsible for errors made by the shipping carrier, such as delayed items or lost packages. We are not responsible for delays in shipping due to acts that are out of our control, such as epic snowstorms, natural disasters, or any other extraordinary circumstance that causes unforeseen interference with carrier routes.

Drop Shipments: We will be happy to ship direct to your customer. A $10 service charge will be added to shipments under $100 net.

Freight: (updated January 2nd 2022)
Free Shipping:
We offer free ground shipping by province as follows:
BC orders over $200 before tax
AB,SK, MB, ON & QC orders over $300 before tax
Other locations, 5% discount, orders over $300 before tax

Free shipping only applies to balloon orders.
Orders with weights or bulky items are excluded. These are highlighted at checkout.
Subtotal is before taxes.
ETA is in business days since the order leaves our facility.
Shipping to remote locations within these provinces, could take up to 12 days

Shipping Discount: (updated January 2nd 2022)
We offer a 5% shipping discount to all orders over $300 before tax that not qualify for free shipping. 5% is up to the shipping cost.
5% discount also applies to pickup and local delivery to all orders over $300 before tax.
We apply the discounts at billing. If your qualified order is missing the discount in the invoice, we will apply it as credit in your account.

Shortages: all shortages/overages must be claimed within 5 days of receipt. After this period we establish that you have accepted the goods as is. Loss or damage to be filed with the carrier.

Returns Policy: (updated November 20th 2020)
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse seasonal products. We will not accept returns of already inflated balloons or open packages.

Returns are subject to a 25% restocking charge.
40" Megaloons are excluded from the restocking charge.

Our return policy is valid for 15 days since the day of purchase. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you this service.
If you would like to make a return, please call 877 527 0177 or 604 590 1238 with your purchase invoice number (required), customer #, full name, and phone number, and reason for the return. We will provide you with an authorization number. It must appear on the outside of the return box or it will not be accepted. Return shipping must be prepaid by the buyer and shipped within 5 days of authorization. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you when the refund has been approved! Once approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your account for your next order.

All Black Friday Week Sale items are final sale. We won't accept returns on these items.

Refunds for defective balloons:
We understand sometimes balloons aren't perfect. We currently have 2 programs to help cover expenses with defective balloons:

  • To report issues with 40" & 34" Megaloons, use our Report a Megaloon link. It's located under 'My Account'. (You must sign in first).
    When you report a Megaloon we will apply the credit to your next order with megaloons, per size individually.
  • To cover expenses for issues with other balloons, we created the FOILS DEAL.

  • We are not resposible for any issues related to latex balloons.
    Be aware that 160's or 260's balloons can pop easily.
    Econo balloons are the lowest quality we sell, they aren't 100% perfect.
    Some latex balloons may have powder (due manufacturing), we recommend using hi-shine.

Payment: We accept visa, m.card & amex. (updated Jan 1st 2020)
By request we can accept e-transfer payments. E-transfers must be sent before the order ships (by 2pm Pacific Time)
Failing to send the payment on time, will stop the shipment. A finance charge of 10% will be applied for failing payment on time.

Prices: All prices, terms and items are subject to change without notice. Pricing is in Canadian dollars.

Taxes: GST & PST (if applicable) will be added to prices.

Account Cancellation/Suspension:
We reserve the right to suspend accounts at any time.
The customer can also contact us via phone (877 527 0177 or 604 590 1238) to cancel the account. The account will be cancelled once all due bills are paid.

Promotional Emails:
To keep our customers up to date about about new product and deals, we may send promotional emails. Our customers can choose to disable these emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the footer of the email, or by request via phone at 877 527 0177 or 604 590 1238.
Email notifications can be also disabled from My preferences under My account.

We reserve the right to change any of the terms, conditions or policies of the Site, at any time in our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Site following publishing of any changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

Pick Ups:

Pick up service is available for existing customers.
If you are a new customer, approval of your account is required before your first pick up.
Your order MUST BE placed online at least 2 hours before you can pick up, and we will estimate the pick up time for you.
Pick ups without our confirmation will be rejected.

Local Delivery

Local deliveries is a service provided from a 3rd party.
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations.
If the local delivery company, is not able to deliver your order, we will notify you, and we can offer shipping or pick up as an option.
